Redispersible Powder Polymers (RPP) – ELOTEX
BCPL was among the leading ones to introduce the concept of Redispersible Powder Polymers (RPP) to the Indian market. We bring to you the globally leading Powder Polymers from our suppliers Elotex AG, Switzerland.
Mainly Vinyl Acetate - Ethylene (EVA) co-polymer that are produced by High Pressure Polymerization, subsequently spray dried under controlled conditions, to get Powder Polymers. These are used as Secondary Polymeric Binders in various Ready-Mixed Modified Mortars.

These polymers can be dosed in powder form directly in the factory by the formulator – exactly as per the dosage desired. It is only because of these Powder Polymers that it is possible to produce a Single Component Factory-Mixed Dry Modified Mortar of new generation.

Once the factory-mixed mortar is delivered to the construction site, water is added as per the prescribed rate. In presence of water, these powder polymers would Redisperse and act as Polymeric Binder to offer benefits like

Better adhesion

Improved flexibility of the mortar

Increased strength of the mortar.

Improved hydrophobic nature.
